A few weeks ago, an early morning dash from Gatwick to Jersey parkrun by Paul Jeffrey and his girfriend reminded me about the parkrun alphabet challenge.

Jersey is the only “J” in the UK so anyone wish to complete the challenge – a parkrun for each letter of the alphabet – needs to head to the Channel Islands or further afield (there’s a great website for parkrun tourist jargon here).

I’ve now completed 73 parkruns in 13 locations but have only made it to 11 different letters (the letter “M” is the only thing that Milan and Mile End have in common).

I clearly needed to up my alphabet game but couldn’t find a list of parkruns anywhere. So I made one. As at the beginning of January 2018, these are all of the parkruns in the world, in alphabetical order (Russian parkruns have been Google translated).

November 2018 update

I am now up to 99 parkruns, 16 locations and…13 letters!!

There are now 1422 parkruns around the world (up from 1114) and Aberbeeg has replaced Aberdeen as first in alphabetical order!

Jersey Farm has joined Jersey in the “J” category for the UK (not sure how I feel about this).
